10-day itinerary
overview

A high-altitude cycling expedition across five distinct climatic zones — from arid foothills to glaciers at 4,000 metres — through red-rock canyons and jailoo where nomadic life has stayed unchanged for centuries.

Day 01–02
Into the Kokomeren canyons
Bishkek – Kyzyl-Oy
From the capital's bustle into the silence of Kyzyl-Oy village via the Chon-Ashuu Pass. The route winds along the turbulent Kokomeren River between red cliffs — 25 km through Martian landscapes, ending at the foot of a high plateau.
Day 03
The celestial lake
Ascent to Son-Kul
A test of endurance and a reward for the eyes: ascending to Lake Son-Kul at over 3,000m, where the landscape shifts from rocky trails to alpine meadows grazed by thousands of horses. A night in a yurt camp on the lakeshore, where the water merges with the horizon.
Day 04–06
Ancient caravans
Tash-Rabat
South across mountain trails to Tash-Rabat, a mysterious 15th-century stone caravanserai hidden in a deep gorge — a living witness to the Great Silk Road. The ascent to Tash-Rabat Pass (4,119m) is the toughest and most beautiful stretch. Two nights in yurts at the foot of these ancient ruins.
Day 07–09
The wild Naryn
Naryn River
Into the wilderness along Kyrgyzstan's longest river, camping on its banks in total autonomy, riding shoulder-to-shoulder with nomads and their herds. The Tosor Pass (3,900m) — a rugged final test — rewards with a grand view of Lake Issyk-Kul.
Day 10
Return from the expedition
Return to Bishkek
Waking on the shores of Issyk-Kul, we return to Bishkek by vehicle. A stroll through the capital and a celebratory dinner ease the transition back to civilisation before your transfer to the airport.
