Day 01–02
Eastern aesthetics and preparation
Karakol
An ancient Silk Road merchant town at the foot of the Tian Shan. Stay at a boutique Japanese-style hotel, taste wine with fellow travellers, acclimatise at 3,000m, test equipment, and go through comprehensive safety briefings under Lidiya Zvoznikova's guidance.
Day 03–05
A snowy utopia
Jyrgalan
A unique, primordial location destined to become the Ala-Too Resort, the largest mountain cluster in Central Asia — ski it now while it still belongs only to the wind. Base at Peak Lodge, with panoramic windows facing the snow-capped peaks.
Day 06–08
Valley of a thousand lakes
Irdyk
Total autonomy within the Irdyk Gorge — rugged granite crags, hidden alpine lakes, and the finest lines for those ready to find their own path. A winter yurt camp, digital detox, and evenings by the stove under a sky full of stars.
Day 09–10
Reflection by the Celestial Sea
Issyk-Kul
Descend to the shores of Issyk-Kul, the unfrozen "Pearl" of the mountains, for a quiet walk along its deserted winter coastline. Return to Bishkek to celebrate the expedition's finale with dinner at one of the city's finest restaurants.
